Chris’s HBOT Experience

Overcoming PTSD and Embracing a Healthier Life with Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy

“I know that I’m getting more sleep and I know I have more energy. It’s manageable enough that I’m going to be running the 50th Marine Corps Marathon this October, and HBOT is going to be a part of my training and recovery regimen.”

Chris Rabassi, a retired Marine Corps Major, served for 26 years, including deployments during the initial invasion of Iraq in 2003 and later to Ramadi in 2005. His military career exposed him to extreme stress, leading to a diagnosis of PTSD. After retiring in 2016, Chris faced challenges including declining physical health, joint pain, alcohol dependence, and poor sleep quality.

Improved Sleep and Energy Levels

HBOT helped Chris achieve better sleep quality and increased energy levels, enabling him to manage long hours of work and volunteer commitments effectively.

Pain Management and Physical Recovery

Despite ongoing lower back and joint pain, Chris found that HBOT made the discomfort manageable. The therapy has become an essential part of his training and recovery regimen as he prepares for the 50th Marine Corps Marathon.

Mental Clarity and Sobriety Support

Since starting HBOT, Chris has not felt the urge to drink, making it a crucial tool in managing his sobriety and mental well-being.

Enhanced Productivity and Community Involvement

With improved health and energy, Chris has been able to engage in multiple organizations, giving back to the veteran and special operations communities with renewed focus and dedication.
